To the west of the palaestra was constructed a circular pool, with a diameter of 10 meters and a depth which reached 1.80 meters. It was filled with water from the fountain Castalia and it provided water to ten individual bath basins made of stone. There, the athletes would chill out after practicing sports, having first been washed in the cold waters of the basins. To the west are extant the foundations of the Roman baths of 120 B.C.
